Mar Novo
DIRECTOR
is a Mexican film director best knows for directing the award winning film MAR I ANA, and has garnered 13 nominations including Best Short Film at the Cannes World Film Festival and Best Short LGBTQ+ Film at the Toronto Film Festival 2021.
Novo was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco. While in her home country, she developed her love for filmmaking and soon moved to Los Angeles to
develop as a Director and Producer at the New York Film Academy where
she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Filmmaking.
Dennise Prieto

Denisse Prieto is a producer and casting director from Guadalajara, Mexico. Her passion for telling stories has led her to produce over 10 films, including one of the highest-grossing films in the history of Mexican cinema "Ya Veremos". Some other films include "The Waiter", "For Better, For Worse", "A Woman with No Filter", the Mexican unit of "Emily the Criminal" starring Aubrey Plaza, and her latest film “Sisters” (Cristo Fernandez). Not only was she involved in the pre-production and shooting of these films, but also in the distribution side of most of the projects she’s been involved in.
Gonzalo Ruiz de Velazco

CM Films is a production company in Guadalajara, Mexico that was born in 2018. It is the sister company of Guanamor, a record label that Castillon built out of his love for music and media. CM films has developed, funded and produced FANTASMAS 2021 Starring Susana Zavaleta and Ricardo Fastlicht. Sisters 2022 and several short films and pilots starring great Mexican talent such as Adriana Barraza, Monica Duarte and Roberto Sosa.
